The Russian team took silver in the women’s trap at the Universiade in Kazan
On July 12, competitions in women’s air pistol are held at the 27th World University Summer Games
On July 12, the fourth day of the Muslims' holy month of Ramadan, the participants of the 27th Summer Universiade attended the Kazan Kremlin and conducted the Friday salah at the Kulsharif Mosque.
Today President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhamov, Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Vitaly Mutko and President of FISU Claude-Louis Gallien visited the Tennis Academy in Kazan where the competitions in badminton are held.
It is the seventh day of the 27th World University Summer Universiade. Interest in the athletic competitions is steadily growing. Tickets to the Games can now be obtained at infomats of the Electronic Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Russian national team in the men's foil team finals gold medal contest will fight with the Italian team.
The traditional Tatar Sabantuy festival, this year taking place as part of the Cultural Universiade, will be full of surprises for the guests. This was the topic of today's press conference at the ITAR-TASS press-center.
"Ak Bure" ("White Wolf") opera premieres at Universiade Park on the 15th of July, to be performed by State Symphonic Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted by Alexander Sladkovskiy.
The Russian national team claimed gold in the 10m air pistol women's team finals at the Universiade.
The Russian swimmers Daria Belyakina and Viktoria Andreeva qualified for the semifinal in the women's 200m individual medley at the Summer Universiade in Kazan.
