A winner in the women’s event was determined today at the FINA High Diving World Cup in Kazan. Unlike the men’s competition, which runs for two days, the women performed only three dives.

“My first two dives killed my mood and my self-confidence but my third dive saved the day,” Ilia SHCHUROV said after his effort in this preliminary session.
Dmitry Sautin and Orlando Duque wished good luck to all the participants and expressed confidence that the World Cup will be fun to watch.
Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan, Khalil Shaikhutdinov, congratulated the participants on the start of the World Cup and said that this tournament is part of Kazan’s preparation for the 2015 FINA World Championships.
"We are honoured to be here in Kazan and to host the first-ever High Diving World Cup."
