A winner in the women’s event was determined today at the FINA High Diving World Cup in Kazan. Unlike the men’s competition, which runs for two days, the women performed only three dives.
“My first two dives killed my mood and my self-confidence but my third dive saved the day,” Ilia SHCHUROV said after his effort in this preliminary session.
Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan, Khalil Shaikhutdinov, congratulated the participants on the start of the World Cup and said that this tournament is part of Kazan’s preparation for the 2015 FINA World Championships.
