Today is the second of Euroopean Taekwando Qualification Tournament for 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London. Athletes competing today compete in 3 categories: women – 57 kg, men – 68 kg and men above 80 kg.
Sportsmen competing in the palace of martial arts “Ak Bars” represent the following countries:
Albania, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Georgia, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the Ukraine.
The finals are to start at around 6 pm.
At 5 o’clock there will be a taekwando show.

Jeddah city in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has hosted a "Fitness Diploma" for the first time, run under the supervision of Fitness Pioneers Academy and Dar Al - Hekma University representing the Saudi Side while Kazan Cooperative University from the Republic of Tatarstan has represented the Russian Side.
Anastasia Fesikova, representing Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Kaluga Oblast, took gold in the 50m backstroke race at the Russian Short Course Swimming Championship in Kazan (26.94).
