Berdyev: “I had no intention to resign, it was all made up by journalists”

 “I had no intention to tender resignation, it was all made up by journalists,” Kazan’s football team Rubin head coach said at a news conference today in Kazan.

Club’s president Dmitry Samarenkin and head coach Kurban Berdyev have today given a joint press conference at the Rubin’s camp.

“The club’s board of trustees yesterday held a meeting, we discussed a disagreement between myself and Kurban Bekievich related to the club’s general development. We managed to find common ground and we are moving forward. The situation could be compared to a family row, but if spouses argue it does not mean they divorce. No, we have not acquired attacking players for Europa League but we do keep to a single transfer policy and have no disagreements on that. The same goes for selling Noboa,” Samarenkin said.

“I had no intention to tender resignation, it was all made up by journalists,” Kurban Berdyev said, the team’s press service reports. “We will work like we have done, all issues have been resolved. Most importantly, we have a common understanding of a strategy and we will resolve issues arising in the process together,” Rubin coach concluded.
