The FIFA Fan Fest™ is the only official venue to watch the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ matches outside the stadium. It opens on 14 June, the day on the first World Cup match, and closes on the final day (15 July). There will be 6 rest days when the venue is closed – 29 July, 5, 8, 9, 12, 13 July. Its capacity is of 25,000 people. Admission to the Fan Fest is free, tickets or Fan ID are not necessary.
The FIFA Fan Fest™ opens at 15:30 on 14 June. The entertainment programme of this day features the "Welcome to Kazan! Добро пожаловать в Россию!" performance that will show and tell the spectators about the history, cultural traditions of Kazan, Tatarstan and Russia, and sport legacy of the country. The best artistic groups of Kazan and Tatarstan will perform on stage: State Song and Dance Ensemble and State Chamber Choir of Tatarstan, Kazan Dance Ensemble, "Drum Time" Drums Show, Action Man Crew Breakdance Team, Charm Theatre Show, Dance Theatre "Mgnovenie", Dance Theatre "Doroga iz Goroda" (The Road from the City), "Crystall" Show Ballet, and "Versia" Trio. Among the vocalists there will be Alina Sharipzhanova, Radik Salimov, Roman Plekhanov, MC ZALI, Artur Khairullin, Maxim Prokhorov, Dilyara Vagapova, and the "Murakami" Music Band.
The opening ceremony of the Fan Fest will start at 16:00. Officials as well as the Rubin Kazan football player, Kazan Ambassador Sergey Ryzhikov will be present at the event. The mascot of the world cup, Zabivaka™ the wolf will be a guest of the ceremony as well.
Live broadcasting of matches will be provided at the Fan Fest. The first match on screens will be the Russia against Saudi Arabia game at 18:00 on 14 June.
Official Stores with licensed FIFA World Cup™ products, FIFA Sponsors and Partners booth will be located on the territory of the FIFA Fan Fest™. You can also buy national souvenirs there.
The main restaurant of the venue will provide catering services. Visitors can have not only typical football fast food such as sandwiches, hot dogs, french fries, pizza, chips and other snacks but also enjoy hot filling meals for lunch or dinner. National Tatar food such as çäkçäk, öçpoçmaqs, gubadia and baursak will also be available for everyon to try.
The menu of the restaurant is developed to cater to preferences of different age groups and religions and includes international and national dishes of pleoples of the Republic of Tatarstan. Halal and vegetarian dishes are also present in the menu.
220 city volunteers will help spectators and organizers at the FIFA Fan Fest™. They will work in 10 different functional areas: volunteers management, accreditation, media services, medical services, catering, spectators services, protocol, etc.
