European champion holds aerobics lesson for young athletes in Kazan

European 1,500 m indoor champion Anna Alminova on Tuesday in Kazan held a master class for a Russian track-and-field competition Hobnails for the Young.
Over 100 senior-age competition participants attended the master class. All of them were given logotyped T-shorts from the sponsor.
Before the class Anna Alminova said only the confident and strong got lucky. The champion showed the young audience some warm-up aerobic exercises and a dance lesson with stretching elements.
“You can sometimes use this routine, not to get bored,” she said.
“You are the best, whatever the competition ends in tomorrow,” Alminova told the young athletes. “Everything begins here, at Hobnails for the Young. I many times participated in the tournament and, by the way, not always successfully.”
The European champion presented gifts to the master class’s most active participants. Everyone could approach Anna after the class, to take pictures and get an autograph.
Jeddah city in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has hosted a "Fitness Diploma" for the first time, run under the supervision of Fitness Pioneers Academy and Dar Al - Hekma University representing the Saudi Side while Kazan Cooperative University from the Republic of Tatarstan has represented the Russian Side.
Anastasia Fesikova, representing Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Kaluga Oblast, took gold in the 50m backstroke race at the Russian Short Course Swimming Championship in Kazan (26.94).
