Tatarstan minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Rafis Burganov has today at the Cabinet of Ministers announced a decision made by the football club Rubin’s board of trustees.
“Due to pressing engagements, Dmitry Samarenkin, who heads up the Kazan Fat Works board of directors and is a Tatarstan State Council deputy, has tendered resignation that has been accepted,” R. Burganov told journalists.
JSC Svyazinvestneftekhim general director Valery Sorokin has been appointed as the Rubin club’s new president.
Dmitry Samarenkin was FC Rubin club’s president from 30 August 2011.
