Rubin plays football match against orphaned children

The physical training society Dinamo and football club Rubin have today held a joint charity event with the participation of children living in the Kirov district orphanage.A friendly football game took place between rubin and Dinamo, participated by children as well.

The list of distinguished guests and fans included a number of renowned athletes and coaches. The Rubin delegation included players of the main roster, Sergei Ryzhikov, defenders Oleg Kuzmin and Roman Sharonov, semi-defender Alan Kasayev, forwards Vladimir Dadyun and Sergei Davydov. They, along with the children, played for Rubin.

Prominent athletes, members of the Dinamo club, wore Dinamo-logoed T-shirts. They were world, Europe, Olympic games and Russia champions. The match was held in a friendly atmosphere, giving plenty of joy to the children.

Following the game, the participants were presented gifts from the event organisers. All the fans were given commemorative souvenirs from Dinamo and Rubin.

The children especially appreciated the huge cake, cooked specifically for the today’s event.
