The delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan at the head of representatives of the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism go on business trip to Italy

The 15th Borsa Mediterranea del Turismo Archeologico, a trade fair dedicated to archaeological tourism, will be held from 15 to 18 November 2012 in Paestum (Salerno). It also is supported by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Ministry for Cultural Assets and Activities, the World Tourism Organisation, UNESCO and the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM), and is being sponsored by the Ministry for Tourism.

Leitmotif of the meeting will be to expand the cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Italy, as well as exchange of experience, which can be widely used in the works for the conservation of monuments of Bolgar and Sviyazhsk.

Mediterranean Exchange of Archaeological tourism - is a large exhibition, which is held in Paestum (Italy) in 1998 and unites a large number of countries of the world.

Every year for the importance of the cultural heritage is a factor of intercultural dialogue, social integration and economic development, the event promotes cooperation among people through participation and exchange of experiences. This year participants are Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Syria, France, Algeria, Greece, Libya, Peru, Turkey, Russia, the Official Guest in 2012 will be Armenia.
