Burton Snowboard Park Opens in Kazan

Burton, a worldwide leader and producer of snowboards, outwear and equipment, introduces a snowboard park in Kazan Skiing Complex. The park was constructed by European designers and engineers. Built with the use of modern technologies and unique German materials Burton park kickers welcome not only snowboarding professionals but also beginners.

“Our aim is to introduce more and more people to snowboarding. 13 Burton parks across Russia best fulfill this objective! Firstly, we will show snowboarding to the citizens. Secondly, riders themselves will demonstrate how wonderful it is”, Alexey Chizhov, Burton Company brand-manager said.

During 2012-2013 season Burton is implementing a large-scale project of 13 snowboarding centers’ contraction in 13 Russian cities. Priorly the cities have been chosen via national Internet voting which attracted more than 5.2 million visitors to its official web-site.

Grand opening ceremony of Burton Snowboard Park in Kazan took place on December, 30 2012 and coincided with the International snowboarding day.
