Mintimer Shaimiev and Farid Muakhmetshin sent their felicitations as well. President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, has today at the plenipotentiary representation in Moscow greeted Fikryat Tabeev, who had for 19 years headed up the Tatar branch of the Communist Party and been a USSR ambassador to Afghanistan in the most difficult years, on his 85th birthday.
Rustam Minnikhanov presented to Fikryat Tabeev a President of Tatarstan’s Commendation. His greeting message reads: “This remarkable day is another pleasant opportunity to offer you words of deep respect and gratitude for the many-year constructive work and contribution to Tatarstan’s progress. A talented and capable executive, able to make momentous decisions, important for the whole nation, you included some irreplaceable chapters in the history of our republic. As the proverb goes, “the difficulties have been forgotten but the good deeds have stayed”. What you have done allows Tatarstan be one of the country’s strongest and most stable regions, staying in the vanguard of the national modernisation. Let what you have done for the benefit of the people return to you as an inexhaustible reserve of optimism and stamina.”
First President of Tatarstan, Mintimer Shaimiev, and State Council chairman, Farid Mukhametshin, sent their greeting messages to the jubilee man, the plenipotentiary office’s press centre reports.
“I thank my luck for having a chance to work next to you, a creative man,” Mintimer Shaimiev enhanced in his message.
Farid Mukhamethin sent a greeting message from the State Council of Tatarstan and himself personally.
“Your achievements and talents are so numerous that it is difficult to single out one of them,” the message reads. “In my view, though, your most important skill is getting to the core in your every endeavour. It is this skill that, coupled with a love of hard work and dedication to your cause, helped you achieve a lot in life.”
