R. Minnikhanov gifts 10 new buses to sports schools

New buses were on Wednesday ceremonially gifted to junior sport schools in Kazan. President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, gave keys to the brand new Kamaz vehicles to chiefs of establishments.

Early in the morning, 10 new Kamaz Bravis buss were delivered to the Freedom Square in Kazan. They were assembled at the KAmaz plant and are a result of a joint effort of the local auto giant and Brazilian Marcopolo. Rustam Minnikhanov, who held the ceremony, recalled Tatarstan representatives 2 years before visited Brazil, to establish cooperation.

The Kamaz Bravis are small comfortable buses seating 21 and admitting up to 50. The chassis is made in Naberezhnye Chelny and the trunk in Neftekamsk, Bashkortostan. A total of 162 junior sport schools are active, in which over 90 thousand people do sports, are active in Tatarstan. The buses will allow the young athletes go to away competitions and training sessions.

President of Tatarstan greeted all those gathered on the Day of Russia and expressed expectation the new owners of the vehicles would continue to bring Tatarstan victories at various competitions.
