Japanese women win gold in team table tennis tournament

Competitions in table tennis took place on July 12 at the 27th World University Summer Games in Kazan.

Japan women's table tennis team won gold at the Universiade in Kazan. Japanese women beat Chinese Taipei's national team 3-0 in the final. Bronze medals went to the teams of Russia and China, who had previously lost in the semi-finals.
