Chinese Taipei's table tennis team wins Universiade gold

The duo i-chen Lee/Chia-hui Lin (Chinese Taipei) won gold medals in the women's doubles at the Universiade table tennis tournament which takes place at the Kazan Tennis Academy. In the final contest, representatives of Chinese Taipei defeated Xiaoxi Che and Yue Jiang, 4-3 (11:9, 15:13, 7:11, 7:11, 11:9, 5:11, 11:9). One of the sets of bronze medals went to Russia's duo of Yana Noskova and Elena Troshneva.
Jeddah city in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has hosted a "Fitness Diploma" for the first time, run under the supervision of Fitness Pioneers Academy and Dar Al - Hekma University representing the Saudi Side while Kazan Cooperative University from the Republic of Tatarstan has represented the Russian Side.
Anastasia Fesikova, representing Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Kaluga Oblast, took gold in the 50m backstroke race at the Russian Short Course Swimming Championship in Kazan (26.94).
