Japanese Sugawara takes gold in women's under 51kg event

Hikari Sugawara won the Universiade wrestling title in the women's under 58 weight category.
The final contest saw Sugawara beat Sumiya Erdenechimeg of Mongolia, 7-2. Earlier, bronze was claimed by Russia's Ekaterina Krasnova, who defeated Elena Turcan of Moldova, and Yulia Blahinya, who was stronger than Azerbaijan's Anzhela Dorogan.
Jeddah city in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has hosted a "Fitness Diploma" for the first time, run under the supervision of Fitness Pioneers Academy and Dar Al - Hekma University representing the Saudi Side while Kazan Cooperative University from the Republic of Tatarstan has represented the Russian Side.
Anastasia Fesikova, representing Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Kaluga Oblast, took gold in the 50m backstroke race at the Russian Short Course Swimming Championship in Kazan (26.94).
