Russian swimmers claim gold in men's 4x200 freestyle relay

The Russian swimming team takes gold medals in the men's 4x200m freestyle final at the Summer Universiade in Kazan. The Russian swimmers improved the WUG record by more than 6 seconds.

The Russian team, made up of Danila Izotov, Nikita Lobintsev, Artem Lobuzov and Alexander Sukhorukov, finished first with the time of 7 minutes and 5.49 seconds, which is eight seconds less than the result of the nearest pursuer.

The US swimmers placed second, 7 minute and 13,58 seconds. Bronze went to Australia (7 minutes 15.5 seconds).
