Russian wrestler Ivan Kuylakov wins gold medal at Universiade

Russian Ivan Kuylakov won the final fight and became the champion of the Universiade in Kazan in Greco-Roman wrestling in the weight category up to 60 kg.

The representative of Novosibirsk in the final fight of the tournament met with the bronze medalist of the European Championship 2013 Kamran Mammadov from Azerbaijan. Kuylakov won three points at the end of the first minute of the fight, and just before the break brought the score to 5-0. The final result - 6:0 - is in favour of the Russian. Mikheil Kajaya (Georgia) and Almat Kebispaev (Kazakhstan) won the bronze medals in the category up to 60 kg.

Later, Roman Vlasov (74) from Novosibirsk and Nikita Melnikov (96) from Krasnoyarsk will partcipate at the final fights. On Monday, the Russians won two gold (Ivan Tatarinov, 55, Alan Hugaev, 84) and one silver medal (Islam-Beka Albiev, 66).
