The red-and-greens confidently led their way till a victorious finish. Rubin thus, outplaying Serbian Jagodina in Europa League’s second qualification round, became an opponent of the Danish FC Randers.
After the last Danish championship, Randers ranked third. According to the Fair Play ranking, the club has twice made it to Europa League, in the 2009/10 and 2010/11 seasons. The first encounter is scheduled to take place on 1 August in Denmark, while the reciprocal match will on 8 August be held in Kazan.
