According to Vadim Ukraintsev, Chief Coach of Russian Team in kick-boxing, “Tatneft TNA Championship has become so popular that we always hear about it while abroad. This was our reason to come to Kazan. We managed to discuss collaboration issues. Helping sportsmen to reach new heights, we need to develop a course of actions to understand our goal and the means of achieving it. We received a very warm welcome here”.
Fedor Emelianenko, member of Sports and Physical Education Development Council of the Russian Federation, said that it did not take long to form friendly relationship between the representatives of Kick-Boxing Federation of Russia and Tatneft TNA Championship, and all the issues were resolved by the end of the meeting.
According to Andrey Svyatov, Councilor to Sports Minister of the Russian Federation, “This partnership is multi-faceted, including issues of choosing the fighters, promoting them and the opportunities for joint projects”.
Vadim Ukraintsev stated that the relationship between sports federations and promoters presents a current issue. The problem is, managers from outside the Kick-Boxing Federation take away the Russian Team’s best athletes, so the Team has to leave for the international tournaments without them. This was one of the topics of their discussion.
