Ak Bars introduces the new team to the fans for the first time

For the first time ever, the club organized a huge show to introduce the almost half-renewed team to the fans. Alexey Morozov and Danis Zaripov, who were the team’s leaders for many years, left Ak Bars. The new roster includes Alexander Svitov, Mikhail Varnakov, Tim Stapleton, Shaun Heshka, Alexander Osipov, Tomas Vincour, Chris Bourqe and Alexander Burmistrov, a Kazan-trained NHL player.

The presentation started with an original video about the team, laser show and the dance of the new cheerleaders’ team. After Ak Bars’ anthem, the new players were presented to the fans and received their hockey jerseys.

A make-shift scene was installed on ice for the fans to meet coaches, players and the club’s administration. The fans literally bombarded the team and its coaches with questions, the young fans being the most active interviewers.

Afterwards, the players competed in relay, shoot-outs, speed, dribbling, strength and precision of the shot. The fans decided on the winners.

Also, many competitions were organized for the fans.
