Russian Shooting Championship starts in Kazan

45 teams representing regional branches of “Dinamo” society and defense and law enforcement services of the Russian Federation took part in the opening participants’ parade, a total of 265 people.

Colonel of Internal Service Salavat Gaysin, Deputy Chairman of “Dinamo” Federal Security Guard Service, Police Colonel Andrey Danilov, Head of Sports Management Department of “Dinamo”, and Rafis Burganov, Minister of Youth Affairs, Sport and Tourism, greeted the athletes. Police Lieutenant Colonel Svetlana Demina, Olympics champion and 13 times World champion, Meritorious Master of Sports in trap shooting, became one of the Championship’s special guests.

The competitions started after the opening ceremony to last for two days.The closing ceremony takes place at 5 p.m. on the 23rd of August.
