Tatarstan sport shooter wins Russian Cup in skeet

Tatarstan athletes concluded the Russian Trap-Shooting Cup at "Lisya Nora" ("Foxhole") complex on a high note.

Nikolay Tepliy won skeet competition on the final day of the tournament.

During the qualification, the current Russian champion shot 120 targets out of 125. He missed only one out of 15 targets in the semi-finals and got to the final with the best result of the day.

In the final, Tepliy competed against Anton Astakhov from Lipetsk in a difficult and tense match. Both sportsmen shot 14 targets. So, the fate of the gold medal was decided by the shoot-off won by Tepliy (4:2).

According to the press service of Trap-shooting Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan, the bronze went to Nikolay Pilschikov from Rostov Oblast who won 16:11 against Kostantin Tsuranov.
