Mini football Championship among judges of Volga Federal District opened in Kazan. 2 Part

On September 20 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn opening of the 7th mini football championship among judges of the Volga Federal District in Kazan (Ak Bars Single Combat Palace, KAI-Olymp sports complex).

Tatarstan team of judges won the right to host traditional mini football championship among judges of the Volga Federal District one year ago when they won the previous tournament in Ufa.

For the first time the teams from all 14 regions of the Volga Federal District will take part in competitions.

On the first day the teams will play group stage match. Quarter finals, semi-finals and finals will be held on September,21.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed participants of the event: “We are pleased to welcome representatives of 14 teams from all regions of the Volga Federal District in our republic and we are glad that competitions will be held at one of the Universiade venues. It is nice to see that the community of judges is so sporty and united.
