Tatarstan sport shooter wins silver at World Championship . Part 2

According to Olga Kamardina, press-attaché of Tatarstan Trap-Shooting Federation, Vasily Mosin from Tatarstan won silver medal at the 2013 World Shotgun Championships in Lima, Peru.

The current European Double-Trap champion shot 134 targets out of 150 in the qualification round, getting into the semi-final through a shoot off. He won 4-3 against Mark Russell from Australia. Mosin shot 27 clay pigeons in the semi-final. He scored 4 points in the shoot off and won against three opponents, getting into the final round.

Mosin was leading over most of the last round against Walton Eller from U.S., but two misses changed the end of the match. He yielded 1 point to the American athlete (25:26) and ended up with a silver medal.

Russian team came fifth in the team championship with 390 points.
