Tatarstan athletes win three medals in karate at Russian Games

The first Russian Games are held in Saratov, featuring 14 sports. Tatarstan athletes won three medals in karate – gold, silver and bronze.
Amir Khaliullin won bronze in 75 kg category. Compatriots Ekaterina Golubeva and Gulzhamal Shabanova met in the 61 kg category final that ended with Shabanova’s victory, and both gold and silver medal went to Tatarstan.
According to the press service of Tatarstan Sports Ministry, the Games will go on until the 29th of September.
