Kul Sharif mosque wins 2 million votes in Russia 10 project

The Kul Sharif mosque has scored 2 million votes in the Russia 10 project. The Tatarstan sight is now at the 15th line of the ranking.

According to updated reports, the sight has won 2,143,000 votes. On 24 September, it was 12th, with a little over 1 million votes.

Winners of the project will be architectural, cultural and landscape assets in the top ten of the rating list. A total of 30 sites vie for the right. Owing to a great number of votes cast, early winners were announced, the Kolomna Kremlin and the Heart of Chechnya mosque.

The voting proceeds according to new rules. One IP address can vote at most 3 times a day, choosing 5 sights worthy of winning. To vote with the help of sms, the numbers of 5 various sights need to be punched in. Only one message can be sent in the final round. The Kul Sharif mosque can be supported online and through sending an sms message with the text ‘15’ to the number 1880.
