14 sports universities from Russia, as well as Ukrainian and Belarusian students competed in Smolensk.
Volga Academy presented a 10 minute reel of the university’s television project Champions’ Academy for the Olympic Ideals and Sporting Traditions in Sports System – an Efficient Alternative for Bad Habits nomination. Kazan university ranked third in the internet vote.
In the tournament itself, 26 Kazan students competed in a multidiscipline sporting event, obstacle course, Olympic Heritage contest for sports experts and Sports Hit Parade creative competition, says the Academy’s press service.
Kazan students ranked first in the team multidiscipline event among men and women, whilst the Academy’s masters program student came second in the individual event.
