On October 1, Russia traditionally celebrates International Day of Older Persons. This is our common holiday - the holiday of kindness, loyalty and respect, charity and love, the holiday aimed at strengthening and developing the relationship between members of different generations and, of course, a particularly solemn occasion and special opportunity to express huge gratitude to the older generation.
