Evgeny Donskoy, Matteo Viola advance to second round of Kazan Kremlin Cup

Top seed Evgeny Donskoy cruised into the second round of the ATP Kazan Kremlin Cup Challenger 2013, after withstanding a sturdy fight from Uladzimir Ignatik 4-6, 7-6 (7/2), 7-5 in the opening-round clash.
The 78th-ranked Russian needed two hours and ten minutes to race into the second round, where he will meet the winner of the match between Alexander Rumyantsev and Lucas Pouille.
Italian Matteo Viola seeded fifth, eased pass Boy Westerhof 6-3, 6-0 in the first-round battle that lasted for just 40 minutes. Eighth seed Radu Albot also breezed into the second round, following a 6-3, 6-4 win over Baris Erguden.
Aslan Karatsev also moved on to the round of 16, after posting a 6-1, 7-5 victory over Timur Kiuamov. Qualifier Antal Van Der Duim beat Dzmitry Zhyrmont 6-1, 6-4, and Marsel Ilhan defeated Andrey Rublev 6-4, 6-7 (5/7), 6-4 to reach the second round of the tournament.
