Wigan v Rubin Kazan Odds: Russian side start favourites at the DW Stadium. Part 3

24 October 2013, Thursday

They boast a real goal threat after scoring nine goals in their opening two group matches and they are 6/5 to score over 1.5 goals at the DW Stadium. Even without their injured star Spanish striker Jose Rondon, Rubin have continued to bang in the goals and there looks to be the potential for a few goals in this week's match.

Rubin have a decent pedigree in Europe as they knocked out Atletico Madrid en route to the latter stages of the Europa League last season, although they eventually lost to Chelsea. They are not afraid to attack on the road and Rubin to win and both teams to score on Thursday can be backed at 18/5, while over 2.5 goals in total in the match is a 21/20 punt with Bet Victor. Wigan will fancy their chances of getting on the scoresheet, particularly with Nick Powell in fine form. Powell has scored three goals in his last three home games at the DW Stadium, including a brace in the 3-1 win against Maribor, and he is 15/2 to score first with BetVictor.
