Farid Mukhametshin, Chairman of Tatarstan State Council, Kamil khazrat Samigullin, Mufti of Tatarstan, Anastasiy, metropolitan of Tatarstan, Ayrat Sibagatullin, Tatarstan Culture Minister, as well as other officials attended the concert.
At the entrance, the guests were greeted by the singing and dancing art collectives of the republic's ethnic and cultural autonomies.
Farid Mukhametshin greeted the concert's guests and participants and read Tatarstan President's address: "Unity day is becoming more popular each year. Its purpose remains the same - uniting all the people that live in our home, in the Republic of Tatarstan".
The Chairman of State Council said: "Multi-ethnic Russia is based on friendship and mutual understanding of peoples despite the difference in their languages and traditions. We all live in one home and we need to treat it as a great treasure".
Afterwards, Rodnichok folk dance studio from Naberezhnye Chelny performed, followed by the presentation of two books - Tatarstan Mosques and Tatarstan Orthodox Churches.
Then, Tatarstan mufti and metropolitan congratulated the audience with the Unity Day. The concert continued with folk songs and dances, culminating in song I Love You, Tatarstan sang by all the gala concert's participants.
