Kazan acknowledged as one of world’s sports capitals. Part 2

Universiade in Kazan was pronounced the winner in the Most Innovative Event and Event Look nominations. Universiade’s partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers, was named the bronze winner in the nomination Best Use of Sponsorship.

Receiving the award, Ilsur Metshin noted the significance of Kazan being recognised as a global-standard sports city. “Kazan owing to Universiade built a great sports infrastructure that allows any person stay healthy and do sports. We are happy that our hospitality and ambition to host the best in history World Students Sports Games were appreciated by the experts.”
