The winning, said O. Matytisn, was a vivid testimonial of the world sports community’s appreciation of Universiade 2013, hosted by Kazan, that “according to many experts had been the best in the history of global Universiades”.
“I am sure that acknowledging Kazan as one of the leaders in managing largest international sporting events will contribute to our country’s authority in the world arena growing and youth sport movement in Russia and the world developing,” reads the RSSU’s telegram.
