Kazan to host Russian Short Course Swimming Championship. Part 3

Among the swimmers who will arrive in Kazan for the championship are leaders of the national team: medal winners of the 2012 Olympic Games Evgeny Lagunov, Andrey Grechin and Sergey Fesikov, medal winners of the 2013 FINA World Championships Veronika Popova, Svetlana Chimrova, Daria Ustinova and Anna Belousova, two-time European champion Anastasia Chaun, medal winner of the 2012 FINA Short Course World Championships Vyacheslav Sinkevich and many other top swimmers of Russia.
The Republic of Tatarstan will be represented by 19 swimmers, including Master of Sport International Class, world silver medallist, European bronze medallist and Universiade champion Yana Martynova.

Jeddah city in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has hosted a "Fitness Diploma" for the first time, run under the supervision of Fitness Pioneers Academy and Dar Al - Hekma University representing the Saudi Side while Kazan Cooperative University from the Republic of Tatarstan has represented the Russian Side.

Anastasia Fesikova, representing Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Kaluga Oblast, took gold in the 50m backstroke race at the Russian Short Course Swimming Championship in Kazan (26.94).
