Tatarstan capital was to host more events, including the 2015 world aquatics championship and 2018 world football championship. “But I would like to single out this golden page in the history of our city and its residents, and thank you. We were one team. We were proud for the city, republic and country,” concluded I. Metshin.
A total of 108 people received awards. Fifteen were honoured with the For Honourable Service badge, 54 received Kazan letters of honour, while 36 did mayoral letters of commendation.
