Mayor of Kazan says thank you for making Universiade a success. Part 2

"We had no experience and adopted it from organisers of previous Universiades, but nevertheless we sucessfully coped with the task. The Summer Universiade 2013 earned high praise not only from the leadership of Tatarstan and Russia, but also from the organisers of the Games - the International University Sports Federation (FISU) represented by President Claude-Louis Gallien. A certain credit for this is given to volunteers, medical personnel, law enforcement agencies, hospitality workers, employees of housing and community amenities and landscaping, and performers who contributed to the Cultural Universiade," said Ilsur Metshin, as quoted by kzn.ru.
