University sports stars recognised in Moscow. Part 1

The Stars of University Sports Gala took place in the Small Hall of the State Kremlin Palace on Friday, November 15. Russia's famous student-athletes will be key figures at the event.
'Gaudeamus', an anthem symbolising the unity of young athletes around the world, was played at the beginning of the event. After that, the audience was treated to a theatrical performance depicting the development of university sports in the country - the establishment of GTO (Ready for Labour and Defence), sports parades, and the foundation of sports clubs.
