University sports stars recognised in Moscow. Part 3

The 27th Summer Universiade, which took place this July in Kazan, has become the major event of the year in the sporting life of the country. The awards ceremony was held as part of the gala to recognise all those who contributed to the staging of the Games in Kazan. The award in the Best Sports Project category was given to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the award in the Student Sports Capital of Russia category went to the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, and the award in the Kazan 2013 Team category was bestowed upon the Director General of the Executive Directorate of the 27th Summer Universiade Vladimir Leonov.
