Russian Short Course Swimming Championship kicks off in Kazan. Part 7

40-strong team of Kazan 2013 volunteers will help stage the Russian Championship. All of them passed the selection procedure and received training. For five days, they will have been assisting the organising committee across an array of functional areas (FA): volunteers of the FoP FA will support judges and athletes, volunteers of the victory ceremonies team will help award winners, volunteers of the Event Services FA will make sure that spectators coming to attend the event enjoy their stay.

Jeddah city in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has hosted a "Fitness Diploma" for the first time, run under the supervision of Fitness Pioneers Academy and Dar Al - Hekma University representing the Saudi Side while Kazan Cooperative University from the Republic of Tatarstan has represented the Russian Side.

Anastasia Fesikova, representing Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Kaluga Oblast, took gold in the 50m backstroke race at the Russian Short Course Swimming Championship in Kazan (26.94).
