Russian Short Course Championship: Svetlana Chimrova sets record in women's 100m butterfly. Part 11

Nikolay Skvortsov was in a class of his own in the men's 200 m butterfly final. He lived up to fans' expectations after finishing the heat in a time of 1 minute 51.31 seconds. Evgeny Koptelov of Volgograd ended runner-up, 3.33 seconds behind (1.54.64). Bronze went to Andrey Tambov of the Samara Oblast (1.54.78).

"I was second in the 100m race and fourth in the 50m race. Today was my event - 200m butterfly - where I showcased a good result given that I was not in good shape when I arrived here. I hope that it will be a good springboard for my performance at the European Championships. I will do my best to finish in less than 1.50," said Nikolay Skvortsov.
