Russian Short Course Championship: Svetlana Chimrova sets record in women's 100m butterfly. Part 13

Aleksey Solpekovsky, a representative of the Pskov Oblast and St. Petersburg, outclassed his rivals in the 1,500m freestyle (14.47.16). Finished second Volgograd's Sergey Strelnikov finished second (14.49.77), with bronze being claimed by Sergey Bolshakov, who competes under the colours of the Moscow Oblast and the Udmurt Republic (14.59.26).

Winning the 4×100m relay, the Moscow team took 6 out of a possible 6 gold medals. Dmitry Maltsev, Vsevolod Zanko, Vitaly Melnikov and Mikhail Polishchuk climbed the top step of the podium after finishing the race with a time of 3 minutes 28.68 seconds. St. Petersburg finished second (3.29.07), the team of the Penza Oblast ended up third (3.32.99).
