The first half of the game was rather quiet: both Emil Garipov and Evgeny Ivannikov managed to fend off active attacks.
Three minutes before the final break, Alexei Tereschenko finally opened the score.
Despite conceding a goal, the guest team still looked confident. But three minutes into the third period, Tomas Vincour scored the second goal for Ak Bars.
