Ilsur Metshin: Carrying the torch sent goose bumps down my spine

Ilsur Metshin, Mayor of Kazan, took part in Olympic torch relay.
"Being just another torchbearer is so nice! When we were carrying Universiade torches, we were burdened with responsibility, - admitted the Mayor, - Today, I was carrying the torch like an ordinary Russian citizen, so, this is a great honor for me to take part in this historical event."
"Carrying the torch sent goose bumps down my spine, I was very nervous," - he added, wishing Kazan citizens a happy New Year.
After talking to journalists, the Mayor presented Ilsur Karimullin from Kazan, the 9000th torchbearer, with an ice hockey stick with words Sochi-2014 on it.
