Tatarstan receives 52 million rubles to prepare for FIFA World Cup

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has approved subsidies for infrastructure of sport facilities to the 2018 FIFA World Cup. According to his order, 1,097.4 million rubles will be leveraged across three Russian regions.

Budgetary allocations will be aimed on construction and reconstruction of six facilities in Tatarstan, Volgograd and Rostov regions. These objects have been included into Russian Program for Preparation For the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

In particular, according to the document, 52.318 million rubles will be allocated to Tatarstan. The funds are intended for water supply to Rubin stadium (596,000 rubles), reconstruction of the third northern collector in Kazan (12.871 million rubles), reconstruction of the 60th Block water pumping station (38.850 million rubles).
