Tatarstan shooters conquer podium in double trap of Russian Cup on skeet shooting

On the third day of the second stage of Russian Cup on shooting, Tatarstan shooters took all the podium in double trap.

The tournament, which is taking place at shooting range Sviyaga in Verkhniy Uslon region of Tatarstan these days, has overcome its equator.

A favorite of the competition, 2012 Olympics bronze medalist Vasily Mosin with a score of 140 targets out of 150 became the best after qualifications . However, Tatarstan titled athlete missed the golden match.

In the fight for the third place, Mosin shot exactly, made only one mistake, and with a score of 29:25 won 2011 Universiade silver medalist Arthur Mingazov.

Gold medal was won by multiple champion of the Universiade Alexander Fouras in the stubborn fight against 2012 champion of Russia Alexander Vavilov - 27:26. In the semifinals, both the shooters struck 27 targets in qualifying and finished in fifth (117) and sixth (115), respectively.

On May 7, shooters will play the penultimate set of awards of the second stage of Russian Cup in women's trap. The competition starts at 10.00,
