Russian Team takes second position at South Korean Universiade
The Russian team took the second position in the team standings at the South Korean Universiade in Gwangju.
Today, the tenth day the 28th Summer Universiade ended. The top three in the team standings have been determined the day before the end of the competition. The Russian national team took second position, winning 34 gold, 39 silver and 49 bronze medals. The first position went to the national team of South Korea (47-32-29), China (34-22-16) closed the top three teams. Russians are the first in the total number of awards - 122 medals, the South Koreans - the second (108), the Japanese - others (85), Ves Sport informs.
Tatarstan athletes made the contribution wining ten silver medals.
On the last day of the games, only one set of medals in water polo will be played.
