Chess tournament Rapid Grand Prix RT completes in Naberezhnye Chelny

The second phase of rapid chess tournament for the Cup of the Russian Chess Federation, Rapid Grand Prix RT, completed in Naberezhnye Chelny.

The tournament brought together 82 chess players, including one International Master, nine FIDE masters, strongest candidates for master and first-grade players.

The tournament was won by graduate of the Etude school, FIDE master Temirlan Baltabaev, who scored 7.5 points in nine rounds. The same number of points was scored be master of sports Vladimir Alexandrov (the second position). Seven points were scored by FIDE Master Artem Nagimov and first-grade players Ilgizar Gataullin (the third was A.Nagimov, the fourth- I.Gataullin).

The first position among veterans born after 1955 went to Sergei Antonov (he won the lottery and a prize, For the victory in the last round).

Zarina Shafigullina became the strongest among women, Jana Magizova took the second prize.

In the category of children born in 2005 and later, prizes were given to Maxim Makhanko, Jana Magizova and Nikita Kochetkov.

The first place in the overall standings of Rapid Grand Prix Chelny was given to FIDE Master Artem Nagimov.
