Demanov will have enough chances to qualify for Rio, RWF president says

President of the Russian Weightlifting Federation (RWF), Sergey Syrtsov, and Deputy Sport Minister of the Russian Federation, Yury Nagornykh, sat down to talk about the ongoing Russian Federation President Weightlifting Cup in Kazan.

- Demanov was included in the Russian national team’s lineup for the tournament but dropped out of competition.  What was the reason for that?

- The day before Demanov felt well but in the evening, before we filed final entry forms, he felt a little bit sick, Sergey Syrtsov said. – We decided not to take the risk.
