Valuev opens first kilometer of bike path in Almetyevsk

Deputy of the Russian State Duma, famous boxer Nikolai Valuev visited Tatarstan on May 29 for attending the first city bike parade, Almetyevsk Chooses a Bike!. Valuev posted photos and video from the event in his Instagram account.

The official website of Almetvsk region says that on May 29, the first city bike parade, Almetyevsk Chooses a Bike!, was held. It was attended by all bike lovers older than 14 years. Younger participants were accompanied by parents. The parade ended with the opening the first kilometer of bike paths.

After the opening, competitions in cycling and mountain biking (trial, cross country) were held for the prizes of Almetyevsk region Head Airat Khairullin.

"It is the first time for Russia, when 50 km of cycle paths have been laid in Almetyevsk. I congratulate everybody with the health and sport holiday!" Valuev wrote in his Instagram. Ex-boxer also upload photos to the competitions.
